Artist Statement

The Oppression of Existence delves into the complex interplay between anxiety, uncertainty, and the human longing for meaning and liberation.

Through the integration of layered symbolism and object, I investigate emotional dualities: repression and freedom, fear and vitality, ambiguity and clarity. My art becomes a space of inquiry—into the self, into systems of meaning, and into the unseen psychological forces that shape consciousness.

As an artist, I draw from both conscious and unconscious processes to create metaphorical imagery that captures the tension between joy and oppression.
